Due to a burst water pipe at Scout Hill the road is CLOSED - we are diverting via Heckmondwike, the A638 on to Wakefield Road, Huddersfield Road, Sunny Bank Road, Old bank Road In both directions
Service will use the 250 stop on Ravenhouse Road due to the diversion.

Wellington E - Stop Closure
13th - 24th Jul 2026
Due to emergency works we are currently unable to serve Wellington E. Instead, we will be stopping on the slip road to the A58 round the corner at the Wellington Bridge stop (450 10979).

Buses will divert via Ring Road and Westgate into Huddersfield

Diversion in place on the 229 on Jeremy Lane, Heckmondwike due to temporary roadworks narrowing width of road making it impassable.
All 229 services will be diverting via Bridge Street, New North Road and Leeds Old Road between Heckmondwike and Alma Lane.
