Wakefield Disabled Persons Free Travel Pilot Scheme

From 26 May 2026, Arriva is working in partnership with West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) to introduce a pilot scheme allowing Disabled Persons Travel Pass holders and eligible companions to travel free of charge before 9:30am.

To qualify, customers must present a valid Disabled Persons Travel Pass when boarding.

Where the Scheme Applies
This pilot scheme is valid for whole journeys on services operating within or passing through the Wakefield District.
