During these times, Routes 4 & 4A will be diverted via Icknield Way and Newbold Road in both directions

Due to roadworks services will divert via Mercers drive, Kingsfold and Ashwood in both directions. Passengers are advised to use North street stops on bradwel rd and Bancroft roundabout south stops to board and alight. This will be in both directions until 3rd august.

Due to ongoing roadworks on London Road, buses will be diverted in both directions via Park Street and Cutenhoe Road.
Customers are advised to use the bus stops located along the diversion route.

Routes A & Z Chaul End Overnight Roadworks
30th Jul 2026 - 5th Aug 2026
From 8:00pm to 5:00am each night, roadworks will affect bus services on Chaul End Lane and Dunstable Road (between Chaul End Lane and Lewsey Road).
As a result, Routes A and Z will not serve this section of the route during these times.
Route A (towards Luton)
• From Lewsey Road (Hospital), buses will turn right onto Dunstable Road.
• It will then join the GBusway at Skimpot Road and continue directly into Luton.
Route Z (from Luton)
• From Luton Interchange, buses will remain on the Busway until Skimpot.
• From Skimpot (Tesco), buses will travel back along Dunstable Road, and then turn onto Lewsey Road to serve the Hospital.
Customers travelling to or from stops along Dunstable Road between Chaul End Lane and Lewsey Road should use Route 1 during the roadworks.

Due to road resurfacing works, Route L will be unable to serve Waterslade Way and Box Crescent.
Buses travelling towards Luton will be diverted via Sundon Road. Customers can board and alight at the bus stop outside The Farmstead as an alternative.

L - Linmere Diversion
31st May 2026 - 31st Aug 2026
Due to overrunning works, the bus gate at Silver Birch Avenue and the through road at Elmers Gate are currently closed to buses. As a result, Route L will operate on diversion around Linmere and the Lidl Distribution Centre.
Towards Lidl Distribution Centre
Buses will continue to serve the Farmstead stop on Sundon Road, then operate direct to Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way.
Towards Luton
Buses will operate from Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way, Waterslade Way, Box Crescent and Silver Birch Avenue.

Stanbridge Road will be closed between Apex Park and Roundel Drive from 6 July 2026. This is expected to continue until early September.

Route X3 will not serve stops from Stanbridge, Deans Farm to Stanbridge Road / Linwood Drive inclusive, and will run non stop between Lake Street / Morrisons and Chalk Hill / ‘White Lion’.

Due to a road closure, buses travelling into and out of Aylesbury are currently on diversion until further notice.
Buckingham Road will not be served between Elmhurst Road and New Street in either direction. If you normally use a bus stop along this section of Buckingham Road, please use the nearest available stop outside of the closure.
Buses will follow an alternative route before rejoining their normal line of route. This diversion may cause slight delays to your journey.
