No service to Poets estate due to planned roadworks
2nd - 7th Oct 2026
Due to planned roadworks. Service 2 will not be able to serve the poets estate on the 2nd,5th,6th and 7th of October. This will be a 24-hour daily closure excluding weekends where the road will reopen and services resume normal line of route on the 3rd and 4th October. Passengers are advised to board and alight services along Wolverton road during these dates.

MK Diversion on the 2
30th Sep 2026 onwards
Due to the closure of Loughton roundabout, service 2 towards Grange Farm will divert along Dansteed way, Fulmer street then in to Grange farm as normal. Towards the city there is no change to the route. There is no service for Loughton roundabout west or Lennon drive.

From Monday 5th October 2026 the bus stops on Church Street in Wolverton will no longer be in use due to redevelopment. Services will instead serve a new bus stop opposite Tesco on Stratford Road.

Services 3 & 3A - Kingston roundabout
6th - 12th Oct 2026
Due to planned roadworks at the Kingston roundabout from the 6th-12th October each night, services 3 and 3A will be unable to serve the Lasborough stop or the Kingston roundabout west stop between 20:00-06:00 each night

Service 33 - Long Street, Hanslope
7th Aug 2026 onwards
Due to a rolling road closure along Long Street, Hanslope, service 33 from 09:00 - 12:00 will be diverting via Gayhurst and Stoke Goldington. From 12:00 - 16:30 services will be diverting via Forest Road. Delays expected during this closure.

Due to emergency works being carried out by Anglian Water, buses are unable to serve Clarendon Road until further notice.

Routes A & Z Chaul End Overnight Roadworks
6th - 10th Oct 2026
From 8:00pm to 5:00am each night, roadworks will affect bus services on Chaul End Lane and Dunstable Road (between Chaul End Lane and Lewsey Road).

As a result, Routes A and Z will not serve this section of the route during these times.
Route A (towards Luton)
• From Lewsey Road (Hospital), buses will turn right onto Dunstable Road.
• It will then join the GBusway at Skimpot Road and continue directly into Luton.
Route Z (from Luton)
• From Luton Interchange, buses will remain on the Busway until Skimpot.
• From Skimpot (Tesco), buses will travel back along Dunstable Road, and then turn onto Lewsey Road to serve the Hospital.
Customers travelling to or from stops along Dunstable Road between Chaul End Lane and Lewsey Road should use Route 1 during the roadworks.

Commencing Sunday 4th October
Following the opening of the Silver Birch bus gate, Route L will operate via Silver Birch Avenue and Waterslade Way in both directions.
As a result, buses will no longer serve Box Crescent or Farmstead bus stop.
Around Elmers Gate, buses will operate in a clockwise loop. Customers travelling from Luton who wish to use the Wilkes Road bus stop for Elmers Gate should remain on the bus when it reaches Lidl RDC. The service will continue around the loop and serve Wilkes Road before returning towards Luton.
