Route 321 – Delays Expected

Long-term roadworks by Cadent Gas on London Road, Luton will be in place throughout the summer until mid-September.

Temporary traffic lights will be operating during the works and may cause delays to Route 321, especially during peak times.
Customers are advised to allow extra time for their journey. -
Route 321 - London Road Diversion
11th Jun 2026 - 17th Jul 2026
Due to roadworks and a temporary contraflow on London Road, outbound 321 buses are currently unable to follow their normal route.
From Thursday 11th June until further notice, buses towards Watford will be diverted via Park Street and Cutenhoe Road.
Please use stops along the diversion route if you are travelling away from Luton.
The Holly Street (Matalan), Tennyson House and Stockwood Park bus stop will not be served during this diversion.
Buses towards Luton are not affected and will run their normal route.

L - Linmere Diversion
31st May 2026 - 31st Aug 2026
Due to overrunning works, the bus gate at Silver Birch Avenue and the through road at Elmers Gate are currently closed to buses. As a result, Route L will operate on diversion around Linmere and the Lidl Distribution Centre.
Towards Lidl Distribution Centre
Buses will continue to serve the Farmstead stop on Sundon Road, then operate direct to Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way.
Towards Luton
Buses will operate from Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way, Waterslade Way, Box Crescent and Silver Birch Avenue.

Stanbridge Road will be closed between Apex Park and Roundel Drive from 6 July 2026. This is expected to continue until early September.

Due to Hyde Park Summer Concert road closures and crane operations in Victoria, some Green Line 757 services will be affected between Friday 10 July and Sunday 12 July.
Hyde Park Concert Closures
Park Lane will be closed between 21:00 and 23:45 on:
Friday 10 July, Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July
During these closures, all Green Line 757 services will start and terminate at Baker Street.
