Route 1 - Bolingbroke Road Closure
7th - 9th Sep 2026
Due to resurfacing works, Bolingbroke Road will be closed daily between 0800 and 1800.

As a result, Route 1 will be unable to serve Bolingbroke Road or North Drift Way during these times and will divert via Whipperley Way.

Service 2 - Dansteed Way and Watling Street Westbound
7th - 9th Sep 2026
Between 09:30 - 16:30 from 7 – 9 September, service 2 will have no access to Dansteed Way or Watling Street Westbound, due to roadworks.
Buses will leave Central rail station via Portway all the way to Grange Farm, then follow normal route through Grange Farm and Whitehouse. They will then travel back down Watling Street and Portway back to Central Milton Keynes. No access to Dansteed Way stops. Passengers should board/alight at stops along the diversion route -

1st - 9th Sep 2026
Stratford Road will be closed from 0930 – 1630 each day between 1 – 9 September.
Service 33 – Towards Northampton service will serve Hodge Lea and then divert via Millers Way and McConnell drive straight to Wolverton Church Street no access to Stratford road
Service 33 towards CMK – Service will serve Church Street as normal then serve Tescos stop, then divert back via McConnell drive, Millers Way and then normal route into Hodge Lea, no access to Stratford road stops
Service 4 – Will Divert via Millers Way and McConnell drive both ways no access to Stratford road stops
Service 6/6A will Serve Stony Stratford and then divert via Great Monks Street, Millers Way and McConnell drive in both directions, no access to Stratford road stops, passengers should board and alight along stops on the diversion route -
Service 4 - Crownhill roundabout
7th - 9th Sep 2026
Between 09:30 - 16:30 from 7 – 9 September, Crownhill roundabout, Dansteed Way will be closed.
Service 4 will divert via Grafton Street, Dansteed Way and Great Monks Street in both directions. No access to Great Holm or Two Mile Ash towards Wolverton. Passengers should board/alight at stops along the diversion route. -

There will be roadworks restricting access to Lomond Drive from 7 - 9 September.
Services 5 and 6 will divert over Newton Leys Bridge, the Jersey Drive, A4146 bypass and then Stoke Road and commence normal route at Windemere Drive.
Service X14 – Will serve St Helena Drive then divert via Jersey Drive, A4146 bypass and then onto Stoke Road to normal route. -

MK Diversion on the 33 & X33
2nd Sep 2026 - 2nd Oct 2026
Diversions are in place on the 33 & X33 because of a road closure. buses will be diverting via St Leonards Road, Towcester Road, Horse Market and Lady's Lane towards Northampton. Towards MK the buses will be diverting via Sheep Street, Greyfriars, Horse Market, Towcester Road and St Leonards Road.

Due to a rolling road closure along Long Street, Hanslope, service 33 from 09:00 - 12:00 will be diverting via Gayhurst and Stoke Goldington. From 12:00 - 16:30 services will be diverting via Forest Road. Delays expected during this closure.

L - Linmere Diversion
31st May 2026 - 12th Sep 2026
Due to overrunning works, the bus gate at Silver Birch Avenue and the through road at Elmers Gate are currently closed to buses. As a result, Route L will operate on diversion around Linmere and the Lidl Distribution Centre.
Towards Lidl Distribution Centre
Buses will continue to serve the Farmstead stop on Sundon Road, then operate direct to Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way.
Towards Luton
Buses will operate from Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way, Waterslade Way, Box Crescent and Silver Birch Avenue.
