Between 18 - 28 August, from 19:00 - 06:00 each night, North Grafton roundabout and all approaches will be closed for resurfacing.
Services 2, 5, 6, 33 & X33 will divert via Silbury Boulevard, Saxon Gate, Saxon Street and onto Dansteed Way. Services 2 and 33 will continue on Dansteed Way for normal route. Service 5, 6 and X33 will divert onto Grafton Street to normal route. This will be in both directions. Passengers should board and alight at stops along the diversion route. -

Services 4 and X6 will have no access to Portway roundabout. Buses will divert via Grafton Gate, Childs Way and Watling Street. Service X6 will continue normal route on Watling Street. Service 4 will divert via Portway to Great Holm in both directions. Passengers should board and alight at stops along the diversion route. -

Services 5, 6, X2 and X3 - South Saxon roundabout
17th - 20th Aug 2026
From 17 – 20 August, between 2000 – 0600 each night, South Saxon roundabout will be closed.
Services 5, 6, X2 and X3 will divert via Chaffron Way, Marlborough Street and Childs Way, in both directions. No access to Dual carriageway stops on Saxon Street. Passengers should board/alight at stops along the diversion route. -

Due to overrunning works, the through road at Elmers Gate is currently closed to traffic.
As a result, Route 7 will not serve Elmer Gate instead operating via Chantry Way in both directions.

Service 33 - Long Street, Hanslope
7th Aug 2026 onwards
Due to a rolling road closure along Long Street, Hanslope, service 33 from 09:00 - 12:00 will be diverting via Gayhurst and Stoke Goldington. From 12:00 - 16:30 services will be diverting via Forest Road. Delays expected during this closure.

321 - Cutenhoe Road
17th - 23rd Aug 2026
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation on London Road at the junction with Cutenhoe Road. As a result, Route 321 will be unable to serve the following bus stops:
Cutenhoe Court Bus Stops (outside and opposite the LDS Church)
Ludlow Avenue Bus Stop (London Road towards Harpenden)
During this period, customers should use alternative bus stops further along Cutenhoe Road.
These bus stop suspensions are in addition to the long-term London Road diversion. Please refer to the separate service alert for further details -
Route 321 - London Road Diversion (Update)
18th Jul 2026 - 28th Aug 2026
Due to ongoing roadworks on London Road, buses will be diverted in both directions via Park Street and Cutenhoe Road.
Customers are advised to use the bus stops located along the diversion route.
During this diversion, the following bus stops will not be served:

Stockwood Park

Due to resurfacing works on Silver Birch Avenue., Route L is unable to serve Waterslade Way and Box Crescent.

Buses travelling towards Luton will be diverted via Sundon Road. Customers can use the bus stop outside The Farmstead as an alternative boarding and alighting point.

L - Linmere Diversion
31st May 2026 - 31st Aug 2026
Due to overrunning works, the bus gate at Silver Birch Avenue and the through road at Elmers Gate are currently closed to buses. As a result, Route L will operate on diversion around Linmere and the Lidl Distribution Centre.
Towards Lidl Distribution Centre
Buses will continue to serve the Farmstead stop on Sundon Road, then operate direct to Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way.
Towards Luton
Buses will operate from Lidl Distribution Centre via Chantry Way, Waterslade Way, Box Crescent and Silver Birch Avenue.

Route X3 will not serve stops from Stanbridge, Deans Farm to Stanbridge Road / Linwood Drive inclusive, and will run non stop between Lake Street / Morrisons and Chalk Hill / ‘White Lion’.
Routes X4 and CS1 will not serve stops on Leighton Road, Stanbridge Road, or at Lake Street / Morrisons, and will divert via Fraserfields Way and Hockliffe Road.
Route X2 will operate as normal through Leighton Buzzard

Diversion on the X4 Due to Wing Road Closure

X3, X4 & CS1 Leighton Buzzard - Stanbridge Road closure

Due to resurfacing works service X6 is unable to serve London rd. Services diverting from High street Buckingham rd, then back on to Stratford rd, right at roundabout on to A413 then right on to the A421, then left at roundabout back on to the A413 London rd normal service. This is in both directions.

MK Diversion on the X6

Diversions are in place on the X6 because of roadworks. after serving London Road the buses will be diverting via the A421, Padbury Road, Thornborough Road back into Padbury. this is towards Aylesbury only. This is a 24 hour closure.
