Diversions are in place on the 107 because of roadworks ONLY BETWEEN 07:30 AND 15:30
Outbound: Buses will continue along Horbury Road and take the next Left onto Thornbury Road It will follow the road and re join the route at the end of Gill Syke Road.
Inbound: After the junction off Gill Syke Road the bus will turn left on Thornes Road and continue to the end. At the T-Junction it will turn Right onto Horbury Road then follow horbury road until it re joins the route at the end of Gill Syke Road.

Due to a single lane road closure on High Street, Heckmondwike, all Heckmondwike bound services will be diverting between Healey School and Heckmondwike.
All Heckmondwike bound services will divert via White Lee Road, Dale Lane & Jeremy Lane resuming normal route from Heckmondwike.
Leeds bound services remain unaffected.

It is not possible to use the stop on the 255 & 254 because of roadworks. The temporary bus stop is also unsafe as contractors are moving it to be able to complete their works safety. Please use Wellington Bridge stop to avoid any confusion and uncertainty.

22nd Apr 2026 onwards
Diversion in place on the 229 on Jeremy Lane, Heckmondwike due to temporary roadworks narrowing width of road making it impassable.
All 229 services will be diverting via Bridge Street, New North Road and Leeds Old Road between Heckmondwike and Alma Lane.

Diversions are in place on the 283 & 283A due to Bradford road and Northgate road closure.
Out of Dewsbury: Right out of the bus station, onto Aldams road, Right onto Old Westgate, left onto Halifax road, right onto Thorncliffe road, left onto track road, right onto Purlwell and then we will be back on route.
Into Dewsbury: At Purlwell follow straight on to the junction, turn left onto Track road follow to the end turn left onto Halifax road. Right onto Old Westgate Left at lights onto Aldams road Then into bus station. -
