Service Changes from 2nd April

From 2 April 2023 the following service changes will be made.

Service 8 Middlesbrough to Netherfields
Monday to Friday daytime buses will now run up to every 10 minutes.

Service X12 Middlesbrough to Newcastle 
Following a request from Teesside Park journeys will operate to a revised route, using the stop on the opposite side of the road at Morrisons then looping round the back of Morrisons to reach Sandown Way. Following changes to Durham local services 57/57A All stops between Coxhoe, and Durham will now be served by this service.

Service X66 Darlington to Middlesbrough
A new timetable will be introduced with changes to early morning journeys. An earlier journey from Middlesbrough to Darlington on Monday to Fridays and a later journey from Darlington to Middlesbrough on Sundays

Services 2/2A Red Hall to Branksome 
A revised timetable will be introduced to improve reliability with Monday to Saturday daytime buses operating up to every 15 minutes and with revised running times. Service 2A journeys will still operate providing a bus up to every 30 minutes at shift times. Some early Saturday and Sunday journeys will no longer run due to low passenger use. The services will no longer run through the Lingfield Point Estate.

Service X66 Darlington to Middlesbrough 
A new timetable will be introduced with changes to early morning journeys. A new earlier journey from Middlesbrough to Darlington on Monday to Fridays and a later journey from Darlington to Middlesbrough on Sundays. 

Service 95 Whitby to Lealholmside 
This service will now operate between Sleights and Sainsburys only, on a reduced frequency hourly off peak. Sunday service is withdrawn owing to low use. Lealholmside will be covered by service 96. An additional journey at 0756 from Whitby to Sleights is introduced.

Service 96 Whitby to Lealholmside 
This service replaces service 95 between Whitby and Lealholmside. Between Whitby and Sleights, it will run via Chubb Hill, Spring Vale, Stakesby Road, Castle Road and the A169 in both directions.

Service X4 Middlesbrough to Whitby 
Additional Sunday journeys will operate for the summer season between Redcar and Whitby with services departing up to every 30-minutes during the day.  In Redcar, these short journeys will run via Moore Street and Regent Walk to the Town Clock.

Services X93/X94 Middlesbrough to Scarborough 
The summer timetable will be introduced with services departing up to every 30 minutes between Whitby and Scarborough. Extra journeys between Middlesbrough, Whitby and Scarborough at peak times will be introduced. 

Services P1/P2 Park and Ride 
These services will be introduced for the summer season. Departing from the Whitby Park and Ride up to 15 minutes.
