Colchester Network Changes June 2025

From 1 June 2025, after carefully reviewing passenger demand and travel patterns, we’ll be making some changes to your bus network in Colchester.

Here’s a summary of the upcoming changes:

Service 1 – This service will be extended to serve Paxman Avenue. Sunday services will no longer operate due to low usage. On Saturdays and non-schooldays frequency will be reduced to every 15 minutes.

Service 2 – There will be some changes to this service to improve punctuality.

Service 8 – Sunday services on this route will be withdrawn. There will also be a reduced frequency on Saturdays to every 15 minutes in line with passenger usage.

Service 132/133 – Unfortunately this service will be withdrawn due to low usage. Another operator, Central Connect, will partially replace this service. For more information please visit their website.
