Additional Services for Lumiere

Durham Lumiere is taking place on Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th November 2025. To help visitors travel to and from the event, we will be running additional journeys on Service 7 between Darlington and Durham.

Additional Departures:

From Darlington: 18:45 and 19:45

From Durham: 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 and 23:00

This provides a bus from Durham to Darlington every 30 minutes throughout the evening until 23:00, in addition to the usual 23:30 journey to Newton Aycliffe.

Fares:

From Darlington: £3 single

Within the Durham County area: £2.50 single

Under 22s: £1 single

These extra journeys are designed to make it easier for everyone to enjoy Lumiere 2025 while travelling safely and conveniently.
