Leighton’s buses changes operator on some routes
from 1 June 2025
Arriva is sad to announce that we will no longer be operating the Leighton's buses network of town services from Sunday 1 June.
Having mobilised the new network in May 2023, we have been proud to work alongside Central Bedfordshire Council and other stakeholders to significantly boost customer numbers and keeping communities connected within Leighton Buzzard as the town continues to grow.
This means that from 1 June, we will no longer be operating routes L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, and L6. These routes will now be served by another bus operator. For more information on routes and times, please visit Central Bedfordshire Council’s website here.
We’ll be proud to continue serving Leighton Buzzard with our inter-urban bus services from this date. We’ll be releasing more details about how these routes and times will change very soon, so keep an eye on our socials and our website for more information in the coming weeks.
