Today
From Saturday 31 October, there will be some improvements to the Tamworth bus network.

5 Tamworth to Amington Green &
Service 4 will be withdrawn.
Service 5 will now extend to serve Silver Link, providing the estate with new links to Amington and Kerria. This also gives the estate a bus service 7 days a week. Frequency will not change Monday to Friday (every 15 minutes) and Saturday (every 20 minutes). However, due to low usage, buses will now operate hourly on Sundays.
Service 5 will no longer serve Amington Garden Village between 08:30 and 15:30 Monday to Saturday, instead terminating at the top of Woodland Road.
Service 6 will now serve Leyland Road, providing the area with new links to Polesworth and Nuneaton, as well as a direct link to Ventura Park.
Services 7 (7A/7E) Tamworth to Stonydelph &
Adjustments to evening timetables to better connect with other services within Tamworth
Service 9 Tamworth and Amington Garden Village
New route connecting Tamworth and Amington Garden Village via the length of Amington Road, operating 09:30 to 15:30 Monday to Saturday
Service 10 Tamworth Town Centre to Ventura Park
This service will be withdrawn, with links to Ventura Park offered by Route 765 (see below)
Services 765 & X65 Tamworth to Lichfield
Service 765 will now serve Ventura Park and Dunstall Park within Tamworth, as well as seeing an increase in frequency to every hour off peak. This provides customers within Lichfield and Whittington a direct, regular connection to Ventura Park and Tamworth Town Centre. As part of these changes, service 765 will now operate from Victoria Road rather than Corporation Street, meaning that customers on both sides of Tamworth have a regular service to both Ventura Park and Lichfield.
Service 765 will no longer serve Whittington Barracks due to low usage, other than the current school journeys to King Edward VI School in Lichfield which will remain through the site. Customers living on the Barracks are directed to the half hourly X65 service along Tamworth Road.
There will also be minor adjustments to service X65’s timetable, with most journeys now departing 5 minutes later. This gives customers between Lichfield and Tamworth a consistent 15 frequency along this corridor.
Service X65 will also now operate hourly on Sundays, providing new connections for customers in both Tamworth and Lichfield to enjoy all that both places have to offer across the weekend.
