Changes to some Shropshire services Nov 26
Today
From Monday 2 November there will be some revisions to services within Shropshire.
Service X5 Shrewsbury to Oswestry
The 18:30 journey from Shrewsbury will no longer run Monday to Friday due to very low patronage, but will continue to operate on Saturdays where there is greater demand
Service 53 Oswestry to Ellesmere
Timetable amended to provide more consistent link between Oswestry and Ellesmere, as well as introducing journeys at better times for customers travelling to/from work in Oswestry. Service 53 will no longer operate to/from Marches School. Shropshire Council have advised they will be looking into alternative provisions for home to school transport for Marches School.
Service 437 Shrewsbury to Broseley
The non-college day morning journey towards Shrewsbury will now operate earlier, enabling customers who commute to Shrewsbury to still arrive by 08:30
Routes BLU, GRN, PNK, OHS:
These services will be withdrawn following the end of a Shropshire Council tender. They will instead be operated by Hotspur.
