Bus Travel in Nuneaton

See beyond the Victorian disguise of this bustling town

The largest town in Warwickshire, Nuneaton is named after a small abbey of nuns and Etone, which means "water town". Shoppers can browse The Ropewalk and Abbeygate shopping centres and the market that's been held here since 1233. Book lovers may know the town as Milbury in the Victorian novels of George Eliot, the pen name of Nuneaton's Mary Anne Evans. The Museum and Art Gallery has a reconstruction of her drawing room as well as other artefacts. Fancy some fresh air? Hartshill Hayes Country Park has some wonderful viewpoints.

Arriva bus routes connect Nuneaton with Coventry, Leicester and Tamworth. Why not avoid the hassle of finding a parking space and relax on the bus instead?
