(Available to University of Greenwich, University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University students)

How to get your student discount
Your SmartCard can be obtained from the GKSU reception in The Student Hub from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] To activate your Smart Card online, please use our guide. You must register your smart card with your university email address.

*The Staff Annual ticket is valid for one year and can start from any date

Single fares
Single fares (Available to University of Greenwich, University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University staff and students)
Chatham Rail Station and Chatham Waterfront Bus Station to universities (routes 1, 2 and 100)
Students and employees can buy a single ticket from our Arriva bus driver for just £1.80. Just show a valid student or staff ID when you board.
Pier Quays to Universities and Dockyard Main Gate (route 1)
Students and employees can buy a single ticket from our Arriva bus driver for just £1.80. Just show a valid student or staff ID when you board.
Lost, stolen or damaged cards
If your Smart Card is lost, stolen or damaged, you can order a replacement via your online account at a cost of £2. Please allow 5 working days for your new card to arrive and any tickets on your old smartcard will transfer over if the expiry date has not passed.
