*Academic year tickets run from 1 September to 31 August the following year or from 1 January to 31 December. For staff the Annual ticket is for one year and can start from any date.
How to get your discount
Collect an Arriva SmartCard from the Student's Union and activate online using our guide.
Your SmartCard can be obtained from the GKSU reception in The Student Hub from 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
Student Single fares
Chatham Rail Station and Chatham Waterfront Bus Station to universities (routes 1, 2, 100, 101, 121 & 182)
Students can buy a single ticket from our Arriva bus driver for just £1.20. Just show a valid student ID when you board.
Liberty Quays to Universities and Dockyard Main Gate (route 1)
Students can buy a single ticket from our Arriva bus driver for just £1.40 by showing a valid student ID.
