At Arriva, we pride ourselves in giving our customers the most current information on routes and services. You can rest assured we'll let you know as soon as something changes, so you can plan your bus journey accordingly.

Showing service updates

From 19th October, service X1 in Runcorn will be operated by MP Travel under contract to Arriva

The timetable will be unchanged and all Arriva/Merseytravel tickets will be accepted as normal, but different buses will be running the service. Live tracking will not be available for service X1 on the Arriva UK Bus app.

Temporary suspension of service 500

From 1st November 2020, Arriva will temporarily suspend the Liverpool John Lennon Airport service 500. Merseytravel will provide a replacement service 500 with Selwyns, operating along the same route and to the same timetable. Go to North West news for more info.

Closure of Pocklingtons Walk in Leicester from 2nd November 2020

Pocklingtons Walk in Leicester will be closed for six months. Service 48/48A, 49, 84, 85, 86, X6 and X84 buses will be unable to serve Pocklingtons Walk, Millstone Lane and Horsefair Street and will be diverted via Southgates Underpass, Burleys Way, and Abbey Street.

Closure of Stoke Road in Guildford will affect services 34/35 from 4th Nov until 16th Dec 2020

Stoke Road will be closed from 4th Nov until 16th Dec 2020 between 7pm and 6am each night. Service 34/35 buses will divert via Parkway (past the Spectrum) and London Road into Guildford town centre.

Services 484, 485 and 485A will be replaced by ArrivaClick on 30th November

From 30th November 2020, services 484, 485 and 485A will be replaced with our innovative new on-demand ArrivaClick service. Go to Kent and Surrey News for more info.

Service 150 Aylesbury to Milton Keynes via Leighton Buzzard changes from 23rd November 2020

From 23rd November 2020, the 14:30 Aylesbury to Leighton Buzzard bus will leave at 14:40 and run 10 minutes later to better meet the needs of students attending Cottesloe School in Wing. This bus remains open to all customers.

Emergency closure of North Farm Road in Tunbridge Wells will affect service 281 until 26th Nov 2020

North Farm Rd is closed until 25th or 26th Nov. Service 281 will be diverted via Yew Tree Rd and St. Johns Rd into the town centre. The bus stops on High Brooms Rd, North Farm Rd and Upper Grosvenor Rd will not be served. There is a temporary stop on Yew Tree Rd near the junction with Powder Mill Ln

Withdrawal of service 87 Harlow to Epping Forest from 30th December 2020

Service 87 will be withdrawn from 30th Dec at the end of our contract with Essex County Council. It will be replaced by new service 542/542A between Debden and Loughton, operated by TrustyBus, with connections to Epping via service 418. For more info, visit and click ‘bus travel'.

Closure of Merrylees Road in Thornton will affect service 26 from 25th Nov 2020

On 25th November until 4th December, Merrylees Road will be closed and a diversion will be in place for service 26. Go to Midlands News for more information.

Closure of Cranleigh High Street will affect services 53/63 from 8pm on 27th Nov 2020

Cranleigh High Street will be closed from 8pm on 27th Nov. The 1945, 2045, 2145 & 2245 from Guildford and 2012, 2112, 2212 & 2318 from Park Mead/Ewhurst 53/63 buses will stop and start at the Garden Centre. The 1914 63 from Horsham will divert via A281 and enter Cranleigh from Elmbridge Road.

Maidstone Park and Ride returns from 7th Dec 2020

Maidstone Park and Ride will return from Monday 7th Dec, running to its normal timetable. Both the London Road and Willington Street car parks will reopen Monday morning for the first service. We look forward to welcoming you back onboard Iggy, Steggy and Spike soon.
