Service 28 Ratby Road, Groby
+
Flood defence works will take place in Groby from 23 July till early October.
Service 28 will be unable to serve Ratby Road and Leicester Road from the junctions of Pymm Ley Ln & Martinshaw Ln Groby.
Your nearest bus stops can be found at Groby Library & Oaktree close.
Service 483/482 - Kings Farm

We'll be unable to serve a portion of Kings Farm due to major gas works from 22/07 - 30/09. After Hawkins Ave we will be diverting back down Whitehill Rd to Echo Sq. Nearest alternative stops are Hawkins Ave and Echo Sq. A temporary stop will be on Whitehill Rd near Echo Sq.
Kitchener Avenue Closed

Kitchener Ave is closed until 30 Sept. A temporary stop is at the corner of Christian Fields and Ash Road. 482 diverted along Ash Road, Whitehill Road, Valley Drive and up Old Road East to normal line of Route at Echo Square. Towards Gravesend only.
Perry Street Closed

Perry Street will be closed between the 05/09 - 09/09 and 19/09 - 30/09. Due to this we are unable to serve the stops on Perry Street and two stops on Coldharbour Road, the Library and Riversdale. This affects the 483 and 489.
Service 96 - Grosmont
+
Due to damage to a bridge at Grosmont service 96 is currently unable to serve the section of route between Sleights and Egton for a period of up to 3 months. The service will operate via A169 and A171 between Sleights and Egton.
Melton Road, Syston closure
+
On 11 September between 0930 & 1530 services 5 & 5A will be unable to serve Melton Road, Syston - between the junctions of Wanlip Rd & Fosse Way.
Bus stops will be served on the diversion via Fosse Way.
Service 322 diversion

Until 13 September - Service 322 cannot serve Chalfont Road and the bottom end of Hornhill road. Buses will be diverting via Woodland Road to access the upper end of Hornhill Road.
Diversions Conway Street (Birkenhead)

Due to the ongoing roadworks on Conway Street and upcoming closure of Hemingford Street, from 1/09 we will be diverting a number of services that call into Birkenhead Bus Station to reduce congestion in the area.

Service 2 diversion

From 22 August Service 2 will divert from The Old Walnut Tree PH, via Lifstan Way, Woodgrange Drive & Southchurch Avenue. Buses will serve all bus stops on diversion route. This Diversion is towards Southend Travel Centre ONLY.
Road closure of Woodway Lane, Walsgrave

Due to roadworks, services 78 & 78a will not serve the Montague Courts stops on Woodway Road, Walsgrave, between 7:30am-4pm from 27th Aug until 11th Sept.
Nearest stops can be found on Henley Road & Hinckley Road (A4600).
Service 110 & 200 - Castlefields

Due to a sinkhole/flood services are diverted from Castlefields, along Astmoor Industrial Estate and right at Wigg Island and back onto normal route in both directions
Not serving the busway section of the Astmoor Industrial Estate.
Closure of Pentagon Island – Derby

Daily resurfacing works on Pentagon Island from 03/09 – 20/09 between 2000 – 0530. Routes 20, 22, 24 & 26 will be unable to serve Wayzgoose Dr in both directions and Cornwall Rd out of the city. Services will divert via Sir Frank Whittle Way and Hampshire Rd in both directions.

Temporary traffic lights on Barton Road

Temporary traffic lights on Barton Road are expected to cause delays until 20 September. This will impact routes 24, 25, 26, 31 & 32
Liverpool ONE Bus Station - Stand Closures

Stands 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 at Liverpool ONE Bus Station will be closed from Tuesday 6 August 2024 for approximately 6 weeks.

Services 11, 11A, 12, 14, 21H, 27 Wrexham

The road outside the Maelor Hospital is one way due to roadworks from 1st September for approximately 8 weeks, all outbound services will be unable to serve the Ramada Hotel and the Hospital bus stops
X84 road closure
+
Evreux Way, Rugby, will be closed towards Rugby between 9 – 13 September.
Service X84 will not drop off at North St or Church St, and will divert via Corporation St and terminate at Stand B on Clifton Road.
Towards Leicester in unaffected.
Route 78 & 78A roadworks

Due to roadworks, services 78 & 78a will not serve the Montague Courts stops on Woodway Road, Walsgrave, weekdays only, between 7:30am-4pm from 9th Sept until 20th Sept.

Services 79 188 166 - Gerrards Lane (Halewood)

Although Gerrards Lane has re-opened, due to the placement of temp lights, it remains inaccessible to buses, diversions & the Wood Lane-Belle Vale shuttle will remain in place until further notice

Stanley Road (Kirkdale)

Stanley Road will be closed from Monday 9 September 2024 for 5 nights from 1900 and 0600 the next day between Scotland Road and Lambeth Road.

Services 61 & 61B - Townsend Avenue (Norris Green)

Townsend Avenue will be closed from 9/09 for approximately 7 nights between 1900 and 0600 each night in a southbound direction only from East Lancashire Road to Utting Avenue.

Services 12, 14, 11, 21H, 27 & X51 - Wrexham Hospital

Due to road works by Wrexham Hospital from the 02/09/24 (for approx. 8 weeks), services in the area are diverting.

Station Road, Little Dunmow Closure

From 12th Sep until 15th Nov 2024
Buses heading towards Stansted will follow normal line of route until Tanton road when they will turn around on the mini roundabout, heading back along route to Dunmow road towards Great Dunmow.

Standing Way night closures

Standing Way will be closed between 8pm – 5am from 9 -13 September. Services 5 ,6, M6 & X1 will divert via Saxon Street in both directions. M6 will still serve Mount Farm via Groveway.
Services 4 & 4A diversion

Standing Way will be closed between 8pm – 5am from 9 -13 September. Services 4 & 4A will divert via Marlborough Street, Chaffron Way & Saxon Street in both directions.
X5 - night time closures
+
Service X5 cannot serve past Aston Clinton to Aylesbury Exchange Road between 8pm - 6am until 15 September. Services will be diverting from the Shell Garage roundabout Garage in Aston Clinton onto Weston Road and follow to Wendover Road to Aylesbury Exchange Road.
High St, Swanscombe closed

Due to repair work, service 480 will be unable to serve Swanscombe High Street until the road re-opens. We will serve Ackers Dr and then onto A2 to Swanscombe. For Craylands Lane please use our FTB service. Service 883 will follow normal route.
Service 12 - Brymbo
+
Due to the 3-way temporary traffic lights at the bottom of Brymbo, service 12 is currently diverting via Heritage Way.
Closure of Western Avenue (Roby)

Western Avenue will be closed between Church Road and Forest Drive from Wednesday 11 September 2024 for approximately 2 days, between 0930 and 1530 each day.

Standing Way closure

Between 8pm on 11 September until 5am on 12 September services 4/4A will divert via Grafton Street, Groveway & Saxon Street and will also follow the diversion already in place. Diversions in both directions.
Service 480 Diversion

Untill Further Notice - Service 480 diversion is currently in place - We are running as far as Ackers drive, then going around the following roundabout and diverting via the A2 to Bluewater before resuming normal line of route through to Dartford Temple hill (both directions).
Diversion services 217 & 410 Hemingford St Birkenhead

Due to the continuing Roadworks in Birkenhead Centre, services 217 Towards Woodside and 410 Towards Woodside / Clatterbridge will divert via Exmouth St and Conway St, omitting a section of Claughton Rd and Hemingford St, until December 2024
Victoria Road closure Widnes

Services 62 and 63 towards Bootle will divert via Brookfield Drive and Long Lane, omitting a section of Lower Lane and Longmoor Lane, due to Roadworks at the junction of Lower Lane and Longmoor Lane. Please allow extra time for your journey
