Improving the frequency on the SB1 to every 15 minutes

From 28 June 2026 we’re improving the frequency on the SB1.

We’ve been running this service for 55 years, and we know just how important this route is for helping the local community get around. 

That’s why we’re adding more buses on weekdays, with services running every 15 minutes at peak times. That means whether you’re commuting to work or heading into town for a bit of shopping, it’ll be easier than ever to travel between places.
