Day, Weekly and Annual tickets
Our Day, Weekly and Annual Saver tickets offer amazing value for regular travellers. These flexible tickets can be used on all Arriva UK Bus services nationwide and offer unlimited travel within your travel zone of choice (unless specified).
So whether you just want unlimited travel for the day or you're planning your commute by bus for the whole year, we have a range of cost saving tickets which are much cheaper than buying singles and returns. Compare the benefits of our Day, Weekly, 4-Weekly and Annual Saver tickets below.
Day Saver tickets
Make as many journeys as you want on any of the routes within a specified zone during one day. Please be aware that Day Saver tickets must be used by midnight on the day of travel.
- Buy your Day Saver ticket online here or within our app and have it delivered directly to your phone as an m-ticket.
- If you are using m-tickets, please ensure you activate your ticket in the app before you board the bus.
- You can also buy Day Saver tickets from the Arriva bus driver as you board the bus in that zone or from one of our Travel Shops.

Weekly Saver tickets
With a weekly bus pass, you can make as many journeys as you want on any of the routes in a specified zone during one week – that’s any consecutive 7 days.
- Buy your Weekly Saver tickets online here or in our app in advance and have it delivered to your phone as an m-ticket. Ensure you activate your m-ticket on the day of your first journey before you board the bus.
- You can also buy Weekly Saver tickets in your zone from the Arriva bus driver on board the bus.
- You can even buy your Weekly Saver tickets from your local shop if they have a PayPoint sign.

4-Weekly Saver tickets
Make as many journeys as you want on any of the routes in a specified zone during a four week period – that’s any consecutive 28 days.
- Buy your 4-Weekly Saver ticket in advance online here or in our app and have it delivered directly to your phone as an m-ticket. Please ensure you activate your m-ticket on the day of your first journey.
- You can also buy your 4-Weekly Saver tickets from your local shop if they have a PayPoint sign or order them by post too.
- 4-Weekly Saver tickets can be purchased on-bus using cash only, when available*. So, if you're paying by card, we recommend purchasing your ticket through our app.

Annual Saver tickets
Make as many journeys as you want on any of the routes in your chosen zone for a whole year – that’s any 365 consecutive days (or 366 if it’s a leap year).
- Buy your Annual Saver tickets online here or in our app and have it delivered to your phone as an m-ticket. Please make sure you activate your m-ticket on the day of your first journey.
- If you've bought an Annual Saver ticket online please note only some Annual tickets can be delivered by post.

Terms of use
- Please note: Only Day Saver and Weekly Saver tickets can be bought on board the bus.
- Children: Under 5s travel for free on all Arriva UK buses. There are discount prices for children over 5, conditions vary by region. Contact us to find out more about child fares in your area.
- Photograph needed: When buying a quarterly, sixth monthly or annual ticket at a local travel shop, a passport sized photograph is required.
- Losing your ticket: Day, Weekly and 4-Weekly Savers will not be replaced. We may, at our discretion, replace Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual tickets (which have photo ID) if lost or stolen. A charge will be made for any ticket replacement.
Regional restrictions
North East
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva North East bus within the given zones except Whitby Park & Ride services.
Yorkshire
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva Yorkshire bus within the given zones, except DalesBus and MoorsBus.
North West
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva North West or Arriva Wales buses within the given zones except for Park & Ride services and ArrivaClick services.
Wales
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva North West or Arriva Buses Wales services within the given zones except for Park & Ride services and DRT Shuttle services.
The Midlands
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva Midlands buses within the given zones except Shrewsbury Park & Ride Services and ArrivaClick services.
Beds and Bucks
- Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva buses in Beds and Bucks or Green Line 724 coaches with the given zones, except certain contracted services or buses provided on behalf of Transport for London.
- Saver tickets are not valid on Green Line services to and from London (that’s Green Line 757, 758). Please see our Green Line pages for details of tickets on Green Line services to and from London.
Herts and Essex
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva buses in Herts and Essex or Green Line 724 coaches within the given zones, except certain contracted services or buses provided on behalf of Transport for London.
Kent and Surrey
Saver tickets can be used on any Arriva buses in Kent and Surrey within the given zones, except certain contracted services, buses provided on behalf of Transport for London or ArrivaClick services.
