Diversion on the 49 - Pinfold Lane (Ainsdale)
From Tuesday 1st September 2026 until Friday 4th September 2026, Pinfold Lane, Ainsdale will be closed for works on behalf of Sefton Council
• From Woodvale, Woodvale Road, as normal via Liverpool Road at Pinfold Lane (do not turn left via Pinfold Lane) instead will continue via Liverpool Road, Kenilworth Road, and resume normal route to Southport and Crossens.
Omits Pinfold Lane and Gleneagles Drive.
• From Crossens as normal to Southport and Woodvale.
Diversion on the 47 & 49
Diversions are in place on the 47 & 49 because of police activity
Lord street Southport closed towards Crossens from King ways. to Leicester St

Waterloo Road, between Oxford Road and Lancaster Road, will be closed from Saturday 19 September 2026 for approximately 4 days, between 0900 and 1500 each day.
