Diversion on the 79 & 79C - Childwall Valley Road (Netherley)
Childwall Valley Road and Caldway Drive will be closed, between 1900 and 0600 each night for approximately 19 nights from Wednesday 27 May 2026.
Due to temporary lights during the daytime, services will be diverted at all times not just during the full closure.
Diversion on the 81, 166 & 188 - Speke Hall Road (Hunts Cross)
Speke Hall Road, between Speke Boulevard and Goodlass Road, will be closed from Monday 8 June 2026 for approximately 10 nights, between 1900 and 0500 each night (Monday to Friday only).
Due to the congestion caused by these ongoing roadworks services 81,166 and 188 will also use the diversion route from 0700am until last bus until further notice.
Diversion on the 79
Diversions are in place on the 79 because of roadworks and double parked vehicles on Leathers Lane, Halewood. Services will be using Hollies Road in both directions.
Diversion on the 82, 86A, 166 & 188
Diversions are in place on the 82, 86A, 166 & 188 because of a traffic light failure. Services will not be serving Garston Village until the issue with the temporary lights have been fixed.
