It is not possible to use the stops on the 79C for Ormiston Chadwick Academy because of roadworks.
Diversion on the 61 - Windy Arbor Road (Whiston)
On Saturday 25th July 2026 between 1900 and 0000hrs, and then again from Monday 3rd August 2026 until Saturday 8th August 2026 between 2000 and 0500 each night, Windy Arbor Road will be closed from its junction with Tarbock Roundabout to its junction with Lickers Lane. This is to facilitate resurfacing works.

From Monday 20th April for approximately 6 months, services will be unable to serve Albert Road in Widnes due to the pedestrianisation works.
For the duration of these works services will divert via Marzahn Way onto Peelhouse Lane and resuming normal route towards Liverpool.
Journeys towards Runcorn are unaffected.
Diversion on the X30
Diversions are in place on the X30 because of roadworks. Exit the bus station via Scotland Road, left onto Buttermarket Street (TEMP BUS STOP) follow the road onto Dial Steet to the roundabout, 3rd exit onto Mersey street follow the road to Bridgefoot. Back on route.
Not possible to use the stop on the 82A
It is not possible to use the stop for Harrison Street on the 82A because of roadworks Liverpool bound

· Friday 21st August 2026 to Saturday 22nd August 2026 – 1900-0500hrs (2 nights)
· Monday 24th August 2026 to Thursday 27th August 2026 – 1900-0500hrs (4 nights)
· Tuesday 1st September 2026 to Friday 4th September 2026 – 1900-0500hrs (4 nights)
