X3, X4 & CS1 Leighton Buzzard - Stanbridge Road closure
Stanbridge Road will be closed between Apex Park and Roundel Drive from 6 July 2026. This is expected to continue until early September.
Route X3 will not serve stops from Stanbridge, Deans Farm to Stanbridge Road / Linwood Drive inclusive, and will run non stop between Lake Street / Morrisons and Chalk Hill / ‘White Lion’.
Routes X4 and CS1 will not serve stops on Leighton Road, Stanbridge Road, or at Lake Street / Morrisons, and will divert via Fraserfields Way and Hockliffe Road.
Route X2 will operate as normal through Leighton Buzzard
Customers traveling between Roundell Drive and Leighton Buzzard Town Centre should use Centerbus route L4
Diversion on the 5, 6, X2, X3 & X14
Due to a car fire there is a diversions are in place on the 5, 6, X2, X3 & X14 because the road has been closed. buses will be diverting via Childs Way, Marlborough Street, Chaffron Way and then back onto normal line of route at the Four Bridges.
Diversion on service 3 and Loop
Due to heavy traffic parked both sides of the road due to an event, services are unable to safely travel along the road without the risk of getting stuck.
diversion on Loop
Services are unable to serve Bow Brickhill station. Services will divert via Bletcham way, Tongwell street, Standing way and Newport rd towards Woburn sands. This is in both directions until further notice.
diversion on X3
Due to mechanical issues the 07:10 Milton keynes to Luton X3 and 09:15 Luton airport to Milton Keynes will not be serving the busway. Passengers are advised to use the stops along Hatters way.
Diversion on Loop
Due to roadworks, services are unable to serve Shenley wood. Services will divert along Childs way. Passengers are advised to board/alight at Wildacre stop on childs way.
