X3, X4 & CS1 Leighton Buzzard - Stanbridge Road closure
Stanbridge Road will be closed between Apex Park and Roundel Drive from 6 July 2026. This is expected to continue until early September.
Route X3 will not serve stops from Stanbridge, Deans Farm to Stanbridge Road / Linwood Drive inclusive, and will run non stop between Lake Street / Morrisons and Chalk Hill / ‘White Lion’.
Routes X4 and CS1 will not serve stops on Leighton Road, Stanbridge Road, or at Lake Street / Morrisons, and will divert via Fraserfields Way and Hockliffe Road.
Route X2 will operate as normal through Leighton Buzzard
Customers traveling between Roundell Drive and Leighton Buzzard Town Centre should use Centerbus route L4
Diversion on the 5, 6, X2, X3 & X14
Due to a car fire there is a diversions are in place on the 5, 6, X2, X3 & X14 because the road has been closed. buses will be diverting via Childs Way, Marlborough Street, Chaffron Way and then back onto normal line of route at the Four Bridges.
These disruptions could affect future journeys
A X1 X2 X3 & X4 - Busway Roadworks
Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July | 0800-1600 each day
Due to roadworks on the Busway, the following stops will not be served:
Jeans Way and Station Road (Dunstable) stops towards Dunstable Town Centre on routes A, X1, X2, X3 and X4. Buses will divert via Luton Road.
White Lion Retail (Busway Stops) on Route A. Buses will divert via Boscombe Road and College Drive.
Journeys towards Luton are not affected.
