Diversion on the 14, 61 & 61B - Utting Avenue (Double roundabout, Broadway)

Temporary Closure of Utting Avenue / Townsend Avenue / Utting Avenue East, Norris Green at the Double Roundabout (Broadway), from Wednesday 26th August 2026 from 1930 until 0600 the next morning for 8 nights

The following roads will be closed: -

Utting Avenue, Norris Green will be closed from the junction of Daneville Avenue to the 1st Roundabout at the Broadway Roundabout in both directions (see below)
Townsend Avenue, Norris Green will be closed from the junction of the 2nd Roundabout at the Broadway Roundabout to the junction of Scarisbrick Road in both directions (see below)
Utting Avenue East, Norris Green will be closed from the junction of the 2nd Roundabout at the Broadway Roundabout to the junction of Broadway in both directions (see below)
The Double Roundabouts at (Broadway), Norris Green and the link road will be closed in their entirety
Townsend Avenue, Norris Green will be closed from the junction of Broad Lane to the 1st Roundabout at the Broadway Roundabout in both directions (see above)

Service 14
• From Liverpool as normal to Clubmoor, Townsend Avenue, at Queens Drive turn right (do not continue via Townsend Avenue) then via Queens Drive, to left Muirhead Avenue, continue onto Muirhead Avenue East, left onto Dwerryhouse Lane, continue onto Lower House Lane, right onto Storrington Avenue, and resume normal route to Croxteth.
• From Croxteth as normal to Storrington Avenue, left onto Lower House Lane, continue onto Dwerryhouse Lane, to right Muirhead Avenue East, continue onto muirhead Avenue, to right Queens Drive, to left Townsend Avenue and resume normal route to Liverpool.

Omits Utting Avenue East and a section of Townsend Avenue.

Service 61 / 61B
• From Bootle as normal to Walton, Stopgate Lane at East Lancashire Road turn left (do not continue via Parthenon Drive) then via East Lancashire Road, to right Lower House Lane, continue onto Dwerryhouse Lane, to right Muirhead Avenue East, left onto Almonds Green, and resume normal route to Aigburth.
• From Aigburth as normal to Almonds Green, right onto Muirhead Avenue East, left onto Dwerryhouse Lane, continue onto Lower House Lane, to left East Lancashire Road, to right Stopgate Lane and resume normal route to Bootle.

Omits Lorenzo Drive, Utting Avenue East, Townsend Avenue, Strawberry Road, and Parthenon Drive.
