From Tuesday 1st September 2026 until Friday 16th October 2026 Wellington Road, Wavertree will be closed at its junction with Picton Road to facilitate junction remodelling works.
Service 60
• From Bootle as normal to St Oswald’s Street, then left to Edge Lane, right to Mill Lane, right to Childwall Road, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Church Road North and continue onto Church Road, right to Smithdown Road, left onto Ullet Road and resume normal route to Aigburth.
Omits Rathbone Road, Wellington Road, Gainsborough Road, Smithdown Road,.
• From Aigburth as normal to Ullet Road, then right to Smithdown Road, left to Church Road, continue onto Church Road North, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to Lake Road, left to Mill Lane, left to Edge Lane, right to St Oswald’s Street and then resume normal route to Bootle Bus Station.
Omits Smithdown Road, Gainsborough Road, Wellington Road and Rathbone Road.
Service 204
• From Liverpool One Bus Station as normal to Smithdown Road, continue on Smithdown Road, left on to Church Road, right on to Childwall Road, left on to Lake Road, left on to Mill Lane and resume normal route to Belle Vale.
Omits Gainsborough Road, Wellington Road, Picton Road and High Street.
• From Belle Vale as normal to Childwall Road, left on to Church Road North, right on to Smithdown Road, continue onto Smithdown Road and resume normal route to Liverpool One Bus Station.
