On Thursday 20th August 2026 until Friday 28th August 2026, and then again from Tuesday 1st September 2026 until Friday 4th September 2026, A59 Northway will be closed in both directions from the junction of Switch Island to the junction of Dover Road between 2100hrs and 0500hrs each night .
Services will divert in both directions via Brooms Cross Road, Brickwall Lane, Bridges Lane, Sefton Lane then Liverpool Road South to resume normal route.
Omitting Dunnings Bridge Road, A59 Northway and a substantial section of Liverpool Road South.
