On Sunday 21st June 2026, the junction of Clipsley Lane and West End Road will be closed in both directions between 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
• From Wigan Bus Station as normal to Church Road, then via Piele Road, East Lancashire Road, Stanley Bank Way onto Blackbrook Road then resume normal route to St Helens Temporary Bus Hub.
Omits a section of Church Road, Clipsley Lane, and West End Road.
• From St Helens Temporary Bus Hub as normal to Blackbrook Road, then via Stanley Bank Way, East Lancashire Road, Millfield Lane, Piele Road onto Church Road then resume normal route to Wigan Bus Station.
Omits West End Road, Clipsley Lane, and a section of Church Road.
