On Tuesday 11th August 2026, Albert Road will be closed in both directions from 09:30hrs until 15:30hrs from the junction of Leicester Street to the junction of Park Road to facilitate highway repair and maintenance works.
• From Crossens as normal to Cambridge Road, then Park Crescent, Queens Road, Manchester Road onto Lord Street, then resume normal route to Liverpool. Omits a section of Park Crescent and Albert Road.
• From Liverpool as normal to Lord Street, then Hill Street, Hoghton Street, Queens Road, Park Crescent onto Cambridge Road, then resume normal route to Crossens. Omits a section of Lord Street, Albert Road and a section of Park Crescent.
