From 17 May 2026, we are improving bus services to provide better links across the Wakefield district

Service 147
Timetable will be revised, continues to connect Wakefield and Pontefract.

New Service 157
A brand-new hourly service, providing a direct connection between Pontefract, Spital Hardwick, Castleford and Pinderfields Hospital.

This new route will make it easier for communities across Wakefield to access important health services.

New Service 187
Offering a frequent Monday to Saturday service between Wakefield and Castleford.
