Improvements to Luton’s bus services for 2025

From Sunday 5 January 2025 we’ll making some changes to Luton’s bus network to bring passengers a better, more reliable service.

14 Luton to Round Green 
We’ll be making some minor timetable improvements to help keep our buses running on time.

23/23A Luton to Sundon Park and Linmere 
Routes to Linmere, serving the Ocado and Lidl distribution centres, will now be numbered 23, while buses to Upper Sundon will be numbered 23A. Both routes will operate in both directions through Sundon Park.

To improve punctuality, we’re making small timetable adjustments and adding extra departures to better align with shift times at the Ocado and Lidl centres.

27 Luton to Marsh Farm 
We’ll be making some minor timetable improvements to help keep our buses running on time.

A Dunstable to London Luton Airport 
We’ll be making some minor timetable improvements to help keep our buses running on time.

Z Luton to Dunstable 
We’ll be making some minor timetable improvements to help keep our buses running on time.

F70/F77 Central Milton Keynes to Luton 
We're making minor timetable adjustments to help keep buses running on time.

Buses will return to a circular route of Milton Keynes city centre - running clockwise from Woughton Campus, Winterhill Retail Park, Milton Keynes Central rail station, The Point, and MK Hospital.

An extra bus will run to Cedars Upper School in Leighton Buzzard (see CS1) on schooldays to help provide additional seats on buses.

Together with routes X1 and X4, fast buses will run up to every 15 minutes from Milton Keynes, MK Hospital, Stadium MK and Bletchley.

X1 Milton Keynes to Luton 
We've been encouraged by the positive feedback and growth of this new express route, so we're excited to bring even better connectivity.

Coaches will now serve Fenny Stratford, Bletchley Interchange and Rushmere Retail Park. Fenny Lock will no longer be served.

Together with routes X4 and F70/F77, fast buses will coordinate to run every 15 minutes between Milton Keynes, Hospital, Stadium MK and Bletchley

There will be revised departure times from Luton Interchange to better coordinate with other town services.

CS1 Luton to Cedars Upper School 
Our new CS1 service from Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard direct to Cedars Upper School is timed around the school day. This service is open to everyone and offers a cheap, reliable, and quick way for students and the general public to get to and from Cedars Upper School. Buses operate on school days only.
