Improvements to Coast Road services

From Sunday 26 March, we will be working in partnership with Go Northeast to deliver improvements to the Coast Road 306 and 308 services. 

Buses will be revised to operate up to every 5 minutes along the Coast Road, in conjunction with the Go Northeast 307 and 309 services, and up to every 10 minutes between Blyth and North Tyneside Hospital. Joint ticket acceptance has been agreed so that you can use your valid ticket on any bus regardless of who runs it – this means that if you buy a return ticket with us on a morning, you can travel home on a Go Northeast bus on a night, and vice versa! 

There will be changes to the following routes. 

• The 306 will now be extended to Bournemouth Gardens in Whitley Bay. 
• The 308 timetable has been amended but the route will continue to operate as it currently does.
