The Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill
The Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill is a truly unique museum like no other. It opened its doors in 2021 and showcases Derby’s 300-year history of innovation and making. Part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Museum has been shaped and designed by hundreds of local volunteers. With a range of different exhibitions, workshops, a cafe and a shop there is something for everyone. Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park
The Jumpin Inflatable Theme park is a brand-new wall to wall inflatable fun park. Derby Arena
Located on Derby’s Pride Park, Derby Arena offers fantastic, first-class sporting and entertainment.
Derby Arena has a varied events programme including sports, comedy, music and pantomime, there really is entertainment for the whole family. It also boasts a 250m indoor cycling track, where you can register for a cycling membership and have a training session with an experienced instructor. Located on King Street in the heart of Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, The Flowerpot is a nationally recognised small live music venue that also serves a range of real ales. Rollerworld Derby
Situated on Mansfield Road, just outside the heart of Derby city centre, Rollerworld boasts the biggest maple floored rink in the UK. It has also recently undergone a £120k refurbishment including a new sound system and lighting rig! There are two skating rinks, the main rink and a smaller one for beginners, so it is perfect for roller skating pros and beginners. There are different events on each day, with professional DJs playing games for all of the family and a wide selection of music for everyone to enjoy.
