This summer, enjoy more opportunities to explore the spectacular North Northumberland Coast with extra X18 journeys.
From Monday 20 July, in partnership with Northumberland County Council, we're adding more buses throughout the six-week summer holidays, making it easier to reach beaches, castles, coastal villages and walking routes.
With up to six buses a day between Belford and Alnwick, plus additional journeys to and from Berwick, you'll have more choice, more flexibility and more time to enjoy your day.

Service 434: Widdrington Station – Ashington – Bedlington Station
From Monday 20 July, all journeys will operate up to five minutes later. This minor timetable adjustment will provide improved connections with Northumberland Line services at Ashington and Bedlington stations, making onward travel even more convenient. The revised timings will also ensure that students travelling to Bedlington Academy continue to arrive in good time for the start of the new school year.
