Bishop Auckland Bus Station Opening May 2026

The new Bishop Auckland Bus Station opens on Sunday 10 May 2026.
Arriva services will depart from the following stands
| Service 1 to Darlington | Stand B |
| Service 1 to Crook and Tow Law | Stand E until 1800 Stand D after 1800 |
| Service 5 to Darlington | Stand B |
| Service 6 to West Auckland | Stand C |
| Service 6 to Durham | Stand D |
| Service 56 to Durham | Stand D |
| Service 56 to Tindale Crescent | Stand C |
In addition, services towards Cabin Gate will observe stops on Newgate Street at Specsavers and opposite Boyes.
Following customer requests, the 0720 service 56 from Durham will run via Bishop Auckland on the way to Tindale Crescent serving the Bus Station, Newgate Street, Cockton Hill Road and Watling Road allowing workers and students an earlier arrival in Bishop Auckland.
