Some things you need to know:
Please be aware that, though you will still be able to access any previously purchased tickets as normal until 31st October on the old m-ticket app, you are unable to purchase brand new tickets on there.
You will now be unable to access to our old Journey Planning app. To plan your journeys, you can use the great new journey planning functionality on the new Arriva UK Bus App.
We have also sent communications to all of our customers who have m-ticket app accounts with us. Please check the email accounts you have linked to your m-ticket account for more information about what you need to do.
There is also some information below:
Customers with longer duration tickets
(Longer duration tickets refer to Annual tickets, Academic Year tickets, Term tickets, 15 Weekly tickets, 3 Month tickets, 12 Weekly tickets, 30 Journey tickets, Child Summer Pass or 8 Weekly tickets)
Got a longer duration ticket in your m-ticket account? If you do, please check your emails (including your junk folder, just in case). Look out for an email that we sent you on the 25th August which has a unique activation link in it that will allow you to access your new account with us and access your tickets that are waiting for you on the new Arriva UK Bus app.
Customers with shorter duration tickets
(Shorter duration tickets refer to Single tickets, Return tickets, Day tickets, 3 Day tickets, Weekly tickets, 4 Weekly tickets, 2 Weekly tickets and 10 Journey tickets)
Shorter duration ticket holder? Don’t worry, any activated or unactivated tickets that you currently have will still be available for you to use up on the m-ticket app until the 31st October. If you need to buy any new tickets then please download the new Arriva Bus UK app and buy them on there.
Customers with tickets that have been credited to them by Customer Services due to the COVID-19 pandemic
We know that many of you have a number of tickets in your account that were credited to you by our customer services team as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Don’t worry they will remain in the m-ticket app – so continue to use those as normal. We will be adding these tickets to the new Arriva UK Bus app for you by the end of September, when we have done so we will send you an email confirming that they are all there, ready and waiting for you.
For now though we have set you up an account on the new Arriva UK Bus app ready for when we move your tickets. To claim your account please refer to an email from us on 25th August (check your junk folder, just in case) which details how to claim, the date that we will move your tickets for you and your dedicated account activation link.
