481 – Wakefield to Leeds – from Monday 20th February

Changes will be made to the route of this service in the East Ardsley area, following the reopening of Fall Lane railway bridge.

During the winter, we worked with Metro to consult with local residents in East Ardsley and Thorpe. We found that there was demand for a more direct bus to Leeds and Wakefield by rerouting our service over the bridge.

As a result, the route will change from 22nd May to help provide a more direct service for both communities. Between East Ardsley and Thorpe, buses will operate direct along Fall Lane. They will no longer serve Moor Knoll Lane, Common Lane or Station Lane.
