Service Changes in the Leeds Area from 19th May 2018
Start Date: 19/05/2018
End Date: 29/06/2018
From Saturday 19th May.
We are making a number of changes to our services in the Leeds area from the weekend of Saturday 19th May 2018.
202/203 – Huddersfield to Leeds – from Monday 21st May
Changes will be made to the weekday timetable to help improve service reliability. Extra time will be provided within morning ‘peak time’ journeys to help buses arrive in a more punctual manner and better reflect increased traffic congestion along the length of the route.
205 – Dewsbury to Pudsey – from Saturday 19th May
Minor changes to the timetable between New Farnley and Morley to help buses operate through Gildersome in a more reliable manner.
214 – Birstall IKEA to White Rose Centre – withdrawn after Friday 18th May
Service 214 has operated since February 2016, with funding provided by METRO. The service was introduced following customer requests for a direct link between Morley, Bruntcliffe and Birstall Retail Park. Passenger numbers have remained low and as a result, this service will be withdrawn after Friday 18th May. Customers may make alternative journeys using services 220, 221, 222 & 223, changing on to service 229 at Birstall Market Place or Batley Bus Station.
254/255 – Dewsbury/Halifax/Scholes to Leeds – from Saturday 19th May
Minor changes will be made to the timetable to improve spacing of buses between Cleckheaton and Leeds.
402/403 – Selby to Leeds – from Monday 21st May
Changes will be made to the weekday morning timetable to help better cater for student demand in the Selby, Monk Fryston and Thorpe Willoughby areas.
The weekday only 06:50 from Leeds will now operate as service 402 and depart at 06:40. This journey will then operate up to 10 minutes earlier throughout. The 07:20 from Leeds will now depart at 07:10 and operate up to 10 minutes earlier throughout.
The weekday trips at 05:30 and 06:00 from Selby will now leave at 05:20 and 05:50 and operate up to 10 minutes earlier throughout.
