Introducing new services 107, 108 and 109

From Monday 23rd October, some changes will be made to our services in South Wakefield.

To help service reliability, service 444 will no longer operate as one service for the full length of the route between Leeds and Hall Green. Service 444 will now run between Leeds and Wakefield only, operating up to every 20 minutes. The section of service 444 between Wakefield and Hall Green will now operate as a stand-alone service and will be renumbered 108.

This means that delays between Leeds and Wakefield should no longer impact on customers in Hall Green and Calder Grove. Customers wanting to get from Hall Green, Crigglestone or Asda to Leeds can continue to use service 110.

 South Wakefield

 
Service 107 – the new number for service 443A

Service 443A will be renumbered to 107. There will be no other changes to the timetable. Buses will still serve Calder Park in both directions. Click here for the timetable.

Service 108 – the new number for 444 in South Wakefield

Service 444 will be renumbered to 108. There will be some minor timetable changes. Due to low passenger numbers in Calder Grove, trips after 18:00 will now run via Crigglestone as service 109. Click here for the timetable.

Service 109 – the new number for service 443

Service 443 will be renumbered to 109. Some trips will serve Crigglestone rather than Calder Grove in the early evening. The timetable is revised to help providing better spacing between buses in Durkar and on Denby Dale Road. Click here for the timetable.

Why not try the new network to visit ASDA or Wakefield:

  • Catch service 108 or 109 between Durkar and ASDA
  • Catch services 108, 109 or 110 between Hall Green and ASDA
  • Catch services 107, 109 or 110 between Crigglestone and Wakefield
