We're loving Leeds
Arriva Yorkshire has been asking its customers to share three special words with them to help describe what they enjoy most about their cities.
Bus passengers were asked to upload their three favourite words on to Facebook and Twitter to help celebrate the great cities in which we live, work or play.
The company had over 200 entries and one winner was chosen at random to receive £250 worth of vouchers to spend in the city. Lucky lady Lisa Smith from Bramley chose the words Nightlife, Trinity and Arena to describe Leeds, and walked away with the prize.
Nigel Featham, regional managing director for Arriva Yorkshire said "We recently introduced Urban tickets in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield which offer even better value travel for our customers. #arrivaurban was a great way to get people talking and thinking about the great cities they spend most time in, and of course there’s no better way to get around than on the bus.”
Arriva’s Urban Ticket offers travel at £4 for a day ticket and £14 for a weekly. For more information visit click here.
