Major upgrade of Arriva’s m-ticket app
Arriva’s successful mobile ticketing technology has been further enhanced with a major new release of the m-ticket app.
The new release sees the app become faster, more responsive and display better integration with our Arriva Bus App, with new modern styling and functionality ensuring a slicker buying process for the customer and an improved user experience.
Since its launch back in 2009, over 20 million customer journeys have been made using the m-ticket, with further enhancements’ planned in the coming months.
Mike Woodhouse, Senior Marketing Manager – Digital Channels and CRM, said: “To surpass 20 million customer journeys is a significant landmark, especially considering that many other large operators have only recently commenced mobile ticketing. This new release will help improve user experience and we will continue to work on integrating the two apps to drive sales.
“2015 will see the delivery of a number of smart card schemes while other technologies are still in commercial development, so there are plenty of opportunities to improve our customer offering over the next few years.”
The new app is available to download from the app store for both iOS and Android phones.
