Celebrating 1,335 years of long service
Arriva Yorkshire celebrated the stunning loyalty of staff at its annual long-service
awards. Colleagues were invited to a special ‘thank-you’ lunch at the Kings Croft Hotel in ontefract on February 24.
Operations director Colin Newbury compered the awards and was joined by fellow directors and special guest the Mayor of Wakefield. Part-time accounts auditor Ian Gentles celebrated 55 years of service, while regional finance director David Cocker celebrated 25 years.
Regional MD Nigel Featham said: “The long-service awards are a highlight on the
calendar for Arriva Yorkshire. I would like to congratulate and say thank you to staff who have been with us for so long. It is incredible to see so many people who have remained with the company for so many years.”
