HALF A MILLION ‘APPY’ EASTERS !
Local bus company Arriva Yorkshire is wishing customers an ‘appy’ Easter by sending out the Arriva Angels on services across the region, giving out chocolate surprises and letting customers know all about the very latest in travel technology.
The Angels, bus drivers with special duties, will be encouraging more customers to ‘get appy this Easter’, celebrating the half a million milestone mark of downloads from Arriva’s innovative mobile app. The Arriva Bus app has set the benchmark for the bus industry by delivering the first fully national app to provide journey planning, real-time maps and service information to passengers on the go.
In the lead up to Easter all five Arriva Yorkshire depots will be getting involved across the region. The local services that will be participating in the campaign in the run up to Easter are as follows:
- Heckmondwike Depot: 30th - 31st March - 268
- Dewsbury Depot: 1st - 2nd April – 202/203
- Wakefield Depot: 3rd – 4th April –110, 126
- Castleford Depot: 6th – 7th April – 163/166
- Selby Depot: 8th – 9th April – 415/416
