Travelling around Conwy
Sitting in the shadow of Conwy Castle, this walled market town is bursting with history and exciting things to both see and do. The castle itself has stood since the 1200s, and was built as part of Edward I of England’s conquest of Wales.
Since then, things in Wales have settled down a bit. Those visiting will be bowled over once they see this majestic town, which sits peacefully on the north coast of Wales.
Conwy can be found within the Conwy County Borough and is well served by public transport. Arriva bus services operate regularly to and from the area, providing connections to Bangor, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, amongst others.
