Changes to fares in Bangor, Llandudno, Chester, Rhyl and Wrexham areas
From Wednesday 2 January 2019 changes will be made to some bus fares and a new Saver ticket zone will be introduced.
Some adult single fares will increase by 10p or 20p, and return fares will be revised as appropriate. Proportionate changes to child/young person fares will also be made.
A new Pwllheli Zone will be introduced, so tickets will be available to purchase on the Arriva m-ticket app and online.
Prices of adult Saver tickets in the Chester Plus zone will rise:
- An adult Weekly Saver will increase by 50 pence to £14.50
- A 4-Weekly Saver will cost £51, a rise of £2
- The price of an Annual Saver will go up from £490 to £510
New Child 4-Weekly Saver tickets will be introduced priced at £40* in the following zones:
- Pwllheli Zone
- Bangor Zone
- Chester Plus Zone
- Wrexham Zone
*Holders of the Wales MyTravelPass are entitled to a third discount off adult tickets, so cheaper options may be available.
