The Four Faces of MAX

Local bus company Arriva Yorkshire is delighted to announce the names of the four winners of the 268 MAX star’s competition.

The competition celebrated the introduction of the new MAX buses on the popular 268 route  between Dewsbury, Heckmondwike, Cleckheaton, Bradford and Wakefield.

Passengers were asked to enter by letting Arriva Yorkshire know ‘Where does your Grand Yorkshire Connection take you?”, the company had many entries and the winners will now see themselves and their entry displayed on the entrance to the bus.

Nigel Featham, regional managing director for Arriva Yorkshire said “Our passengers are at the heart of everything we do, and what better way to recognise the local communities we serve by inviting four customers to be the stars of the show! Our depots are very proud of the fact that they help keep the region moving and this competition really celebrates that.”

The Max stars are all invited to claim their prize, a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and meet the world famous Titan the Robot as he officially launches the 268 extension on the 10th February at Wakefield Trinity shopping centre.

The winners include; Aiden Fryer who catches the bus to his local line dancing class in Wakefield, Shirley Ann-Prior who visits the local supermarket where she buys her gran’s weekly shop, Jeff Holt who uses the bus with his guide dog Sam, and Jonathan Steel who uses the bus to explore new places.
