And the Winner is…

Local bus company Arriva Yorkshire recently celebrated their greatest asset; their team at this year’s MAD Awards! The MAD Awards are an annual event where employees get together to celebrate outstanding achievements.

This year’s winners were:

  • Health and Safety Team, Heckmondwike: Safety Award
  • Karen Wilson, Castleford: Customer Excellence Award
  • Dan Bolton, Wakefield: Newcomer of the Year Award
  • Andy Turner, Heckmondwike: Engineer of the Year
  • Gary Steele, Selby: Va Va Voom Award
  • Gemma Lockwood, Wakefield: Employee of the Year Award
  • Lynn Owen, Shared Services: Unsung Hero Award
  • Les Farrar, Wakefield: Community Award
  • Castleford Engineering: Team of the Year
  • Raymond Bowers, Dewsbury: Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Sean Callender, Wakefield Head Office and Idrish Pandor, Dewsbury: Special Recognition Awards
