Bolton Best for Customer Satisfaction
For the second year running, Bolton depot is the top garage in Arriva UK Bus for customer satisfaction.
The garage topped the poll in the 2014 customer survey with 85 per cent of passengers satisfied or extremely satisfied with the product and service they received.
Not only was the depot the best in Arriva, but it’s customer satisfaction score increased by four per cent.
“In our competitive industry, it can be a challenge and hard work to keep our customers satisfied. It is so nice when people recognise the efforts and work that we are doing,” said general manager Bill Parkinson. “Everyone likes a bit of recognition but it was a bit of a surprise!
“Everyone has done really well. This shows that last year’s good result wasn’t just a flash in the pan.
“Our high rating is almost 100 per cent to the team at the depot, as everyone plays a part in making it a success. Our passengers see the drivers on a regular basis and get to know them. The drivers are always so friendly and approachable, which I have seen myself.
“They all deserve a collective pat on the back and I have been spreading the word around the depot. It has also made a big spread in our depot newsletter.”
