Located at the A171/B1460 junction north of Whitby, the site has 450 free parking spaces (if using a Sat Nav, follow the postcode YO21 1TL). Park & Ride services offer fast and frequent journeys direct into the heart of Whitby.

The Park & Ride offers an affordable alternative to town centre parking and caters for a range of customers from commuters to day trippers. The site includes a modern clean energy efficient building with waiting area and toilets.

The fare paid to travel on the bus also covers parking and use of facilities. Tickets are purchased on the bus from the driver. Dogs can travel on the bus at the discretion of the bus driver. There is no extra charge for dogs.


Timetable

Buses operate up to every 15 minutes from the Park & Ride site and return from the town centre between 8am and 7pm normally. This does change slightly towards the end of the season with buses finishing slightly earlier.

During the summer school holidays, buses will operate more frequently, up to every 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, English National Concession passes and Arriva Day and Season ticket products are not valid on this service. Holders of English National Concessionary passes are however entitled to a discounted fare as detailed above.
