Service Updates in the North West

From Monday 20th to Friday 24th January 2020, Edge Lane in Ford will be closed in both directions from the junction of Buckley Hill Lane to almost the junction of Gorsey Lane from 1900 until 0600. Fleetwoods Lane and Buckley Hill Lane in Ford will be closed in both directions from the junction of Edge Lane to halfway towards/from the junction of Almonds Turn. This is to facilitate junction improvement carriageway resurfacing work carriageway resurfacing.
The closure is expected to be in place for 5 consecutive nights.
There will be a diversion in place for service 63.
From Monday 20th January 2020 until Friday 24th January 2020 from 2100* until 0630, Queensway Tunnel will be closed to facilitate routine/essential maintenance.
*Note on Tuesday 23rd January 2020 this will be deferred to start at 2300 but still closed until 0630.
There will be diversions in place for services 423, 437, 471, 472 and 487.

From Sunday 19th January 2020 and Sunday 26th January 2020, we will be make changes to some services in the Manchester and Halton areas.

There will be a temporary diversion in place for service 61 in Orrell Park, from 16th January 2020 till Friday 24th January 2020.

From Sunday 12th January 2020 and Sunday 19th January 2020, there will be some changes to services in the Merseyside area.
Location: Brownlow Hill, Liverpool
From 6th January 2020, Brownlow Hill will be closed in one direction (inbound) to facilitate gas main renewal works. The closure is expected to be in place until 31st January 2020. This will affect services 7 and 79/79C/79D.

Monday 28th October 2019 Byrom Street, Liverpool will be closed overnight from the junction of Dale Street to the junction of Hunter Street northbound only to facilitate the deconstruction of the Churchill Way Flyovers. In addition, the Queensway (Birkenhead) Tunnel will be closed in both directions overnight to facilitate these works and routine maintenance operations.
