Travelling around Newton-le-Willows
A market town that’s known for its rich railway heritage, Newton-le-Willows can be found halfway between the cities of Manchester and Liverpool.
This is an area steeped in history, so there’s plenty of things to see and do. The town was home to a number of famous faces across the years, including the Mayor of Manchester, Andy Burnham, and 80s pop star Rick Astley.
Meanwhile, its closeness to larger cities and good transport links provide a wealth of other possibilities. Arriva runs regular bus services to areas such as Leigh, St Helens and Earlestown.
