Travelling around Crosby
Crosby is a coastal town in the north-west of England, located just an hour’s drive away from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and close to Southport, Formby and Bootle. In the 19th century, the First Lord of the Admiralty described the views out to the Irish Sea from Crosby as being ‘second only to the Bay of Naples’.
The combination of natural beauty and a thriving nightlife pulls many visitors to Crosby. It is also the ideal base for exploring the big city culture, shopping and entertainment of Liverpool.
There are excellent road and rail links in and out of the town, and Arriva buses run a range of services travelling to and from Crosby and Formby, as well as further afield to Liverpool and the tourist hub of Southport.
