Travelling around Bootle
Bootle is a town situated on the banks of the River Mersey right beside the Irish Sea, just a few miles from Liverpool, and has been known for its docks and shipping industry for most of its history.
The town, which contains several large Victorian buildings, including its town hall and municipal baths, is easily accessible by road and rail. Arriva bus services operate in the area, providing routes to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Liverpool city centre, as well as other nearby towns and villages, such as Southport, Crosby and Formby.
